About Us

Violetta Kielkowski, Office Coordinator

Violetta has been with us for more than 25 years which encompasses her entire career. Violetta has had many patients become friends and she’s watched children grow into adulthood. She enjoys working with our patients and our team. She has an affinity for customer service.

Violetta was born and raised in Gdansk, Poland. She moved to Houston in 1983 and married her husband, Waldemar. Together, they have two children, Olivia and Patrick. Violetta enjoys traveling, attending the ballet, opera, and baseball games with her family.

Sue Thueson, Office Manager

Sue has been part of our dental practice for 23 years. She began by assisting Dr. Tamborello at the dental chair then moved into the administrative area. She has enjoyed watching many of “our families” as they have grown over the years.

Sue and her husband enjoy traveling to interesting areas around the world including Colombia, Peru, China, Tibet, Hungary, Italy, and Spain. Sue also enjoys spending time with their uniquely blended family, who are spread across the U.S. and into China.

Beckie Lai- Registered Dental Hygienist

Beckie moved to Houston in 1986 from Taiwan. She received her Biochemistry degree from the University of Texas at Austin. A few years later, Beckie further her training in the Dental Hygiene profession at the University Of Texas Dental School in Houston.

Away from the office, Beckie enjoys trying different restaurants with friends. She also enjoys doing DIY projects, video games and reading.

Laura Maida Plympton- Registered Dental Hygienist

Laura has been a hygienist for 19 years. She graduated from The University of Texas Dental School at Houston in 1990. She brings to the practice years of experience in educating patients on how to achieve and maintain healthy beautiful smiles. She enjoys working with our great team.

Laura has a daughter Brittney in college. Laura is a native Houstonian who loves working for Maida’s Blackjack Boot Company, her family business. She is also a volunteer for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Sandra Fierro- Dental Assistant

We are so happy to have Sandra join our office. She enjoys working with our team, well as our patients. Sandra has worked in the dental field since 2001. Making people smile makes Sandra smile herself.

At home, Sandra enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children. Her favorite hobby is photography.

Tammy Owens- Dental Assistant

Tammy has enjoyed working in the dental field since 1998. Originally from El Campo, Texas, Tammy enjoys running, working out and cooking. Tammy and her husband have been married for 4 years.

Tanya Buteaud- New Patient Coordinator

When you arrive at our office, Tanya is the first smiling face you see. Before joining our team, Tanya worked in medical offices for 10 years, mainly in the cosmetic field. She enjoys getting to know our patients and helping Violetta and Sue meet the needs of our patients.

Tanya enjoys working out, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Myrna Q. Macias, Dental Assistant

Myrna has been a dental assistant for more than 10 years, and she enjoys working with our team and our doctors. Helping patients achieve optimal oral health and sparkling smiles brings Myrna fulfillment. Traveling, playing poker, and spending time with friends keep her busy after hours.
